Part of our mission at KYGMC is education, that’s why we offer many avenues of life long learning!
WORMALD TRIVIA NIGHT
Taking place the third Thursday of every month at the Old Pogue Experience is Wormald Trivia Night. We invite you to enjoy an evening of educational trivia, cocktails, and laughs. Our winners get the honor of having their photo taken with James Wormald’s hat and bragging rights. Our wonderful hosts, local historians Danny Weddle and Ron Bailey, provide us with questions covering a plethora of topics. Play with a team or solo, all are welcome!
Doors open at 5:30 PM | Entry Fee: $5
Unable to make it to trivia night? Past trivia night questions are added to our YouTube channel, perfect for a night in and “pause to play” trivia!
SATURDAY SEMINARS
Saturday Seminars are part of the KYGMC educational outreach programming. The third Saturday of each month, starting in April, we welcome a guest speaker to the Research Library for an informative seminar covering a wide variety of topics!
Seminars begin at 10:30 AM | Entry is free
READ ON!
READ ON! is a community wide reading program. Every fall, hundreds of copies of a selected title are distributed throughout our region. Along with the book distribution are planned events to enhance the theme of the book. Events may include seminars, tea parties, dinners, plays and more.
READ ON! books and coordinating events are free but some have limited availability. Stay tuned for our 2025 Read On! Event schedule.
